Within this word lies a double tension — Suncto as saint, a call to the sacredness of sound and of those who generate it, to the musical gesture as ritual, as revelation.

And Suncto as summary, as synthesis of a journey, of more than twenty years of exploration among hybrid languages, reinvented instruments, dissolved sonic boundaries.

In Suncto, Gabriele Mitelli gathers his many voices: the echo of electroacoustics, the suspension of ambient, the memory of the sound field, the geometry of minimal form.

Every sound is a presence. Every frequency, a relic.

Suncto does not tell — it evokes.
